According to a study published in 2016 in the journal Environmental Toxicology and Pharmacology , chlorophyllin showed some promise in targeting non-small cell lung cancer cells in mice. In fact, chlorophyllin seemed to have a protective effect that resulted in better and faster delivery of anti-cancer drugs to the cancer cells.
