Since the beginning of my Hashimoto’s journey, this medication has been on my radar – and in recent years, I have learned so much more about it. You may be familiar with naltrexone, which is an FDA-approved medication that has been used since the 1980s for opioid withdrawal. It is used at a higher, standard dose of 50 mg per day.
