The theme of the upcoming Summit is the Expansion of Services Within Independent Pharmacy.
On April 8, log on and join independent and community pharmacy thought leaders for a day of conversation, education, and actionable insights around the theme of expanding services within independent pharmacy.
The day’s schedule kicks off with a keynote address by Timothy Aungst, PharmD. Aungst, known as the Digital Apothecary, will share his insights into how pharmacists can embrace digital health technologies to foster growth and create impact in their communities.
Aungst will be joined by speakers Dean Kodkinas, PharmD, of Transaction Data Systems; Lisa Faast, PharmD, founder and CEO of DiversifyRx; Dung Trinh, MD, chief medical officer at Healthy Brain Clinic; Chuck Schneider, MBA, director of pharmacy at Cognivue; and Paige Clark, RPh, vice president of pharmacy programs and policy and Billy Chow, RPh, head of operations at Prescryptive Health.
Previous attendees will recognize Faast and Clark, who have participated in previous Total Pharmacy Solutions Summit events. Faast’s talk will focus on sharing her tips to improve cash flow in preparation for 2024 DIR fee changes, while Clark and Chow will discuss how pharmacists can expand their store’s clinical capabilities.
Attendees at the live event on April 8 will also have the opportunity to earn up to 2 live continuing education (CE) credits at no cost. The first of these CE sessions is a review of the history and future of prescribing rights within pharmacy, presented by Ned Milenkovich, PharmD, JD; the second will focus on opportunities for community pharmacists in the OTC hearing aid space.
