Hired someone new and exciting? Promoted a rising star? Finally solved that hard-to-fill spot? Share the news with us, and we’ll share it with others. That’s right. Send us your changes, and we’ll find a home for them. Don’t be shy. Everyone wants to know who is coming and going.
And here is our regular feature in which we highlight a different person each week. This time around, we note that Marengo Therapeutics hired Kevin Chin as chief medical officer. Previously, he worked at 2seventybio, where he was senior vice president, head of clinical development.
But all work and no play can make for a dull chief medical officer. So in his spare time, Chin enjoys chauffeuring his two sons – 11 and 8 years old, respectively – to their ice hockey matches, many of which are around New England. “I’m a hockey dad,” he proudly tells us. “They are immersed in ice hockey. There are practices weekdays and weekends, and there are multiple games Saturdays and Sundays. We travel all over for tournaments. So I’m chauffeuring them to Cape Cod, Vermont, New Hampshire. Last fall, we went to Lake Placid, N.Y. I log a lot of hours and you can only do that if you love it.”
