The Perfect Girls Trip – Spa Getaway in Mystic, CT

Hi babes,

In my book there is nothing better than girl time and anything beauty related, so you cannot beat a spa get away with your girl friends if you ask me! My girl friend Steph and I got to check out the newly renovated Cerulean Spa at the Mystic Marriott Hotel and it was an absolute dream. Mystic is one of my favorite towns in Connecticut and is especially beautiful in the warmer months since it’s right on the coast. Mystic offers amazing food, cute local shops, the coast, rich New England history and now a stunning spa making it the perfect girls get away this summer. I’m rounding up some of the highlights from our trip below!

The Stay

Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa is beautifully updated and offers a Starbucks, fitness center and indoor pool along with the Cerulean Spa on the first floor. We stayed on the 6th floor and our room was nicely updated with a super comfortable bed. Per my Oura ring it took me only 1 minute to fall asleep which is unheard of for me, so when I say comfortable I mean it!

The Spa

The Cerulean Spa is absolutely wonderful. All their staff are so kind and attentive and the entire property is so peaceful. When you arrive you are greeted with warm essential oil towels and then escorted to the locker room to get settled in. The Women’s locker room has everything you could want from fresh citrus water to cold hand towels for after you come out of the infrared sauna, oh and did I forget to mention the steam room? We changed into our robes and slippers and used the sauna for a while before heading over to the Relaxation room to unwind before our treatments. The Relaxation room has two large seating areas, drinks and yummy snacks like chocolate covered pretzels. You can also order charcuterie and champagne during your spa day which is such a nice additional treat, like the cherry on top of a perfect day.

The Treatments

I got the Cerulean Spring Exfoliation Body Treatment and absolutely loved it! It was my first time getting a body wrap done and I loved the experience. They used a detoxifying clay and dry brushing, plus you get some massage technique as well with the finishing body oil so it’s the best of both worlds. I added a scalp massage to my treatment since I couldn’t get a facial (I was within 2 weeks from my Botox touch up appointment) and it was so incredible for relieving tension in my upper back, neck and head. I finished off my spa day with their Luxe Foot Ritual Pedicure which was the most detailed and relaxing pedicure I’ve ever had. All their products and polish are clean and hypoallergenic so they are great for women who suffer from product sensitivities or intolerances and women who are pregnant!

I am so thankful to Cerulean Spa and Mystic Marriott for hosting us! I cannot wait to come back and get more treatments with them. They also offer monthly memberships for access to the spa, fitness room and pool that I would sign up for in a heart beat if it they weren’t an hour from my house in the opposite location of work (insert broken heart emoji). I’ll link their spa page here for anyone who wants to take a peak!
