Lights Lacquer gets spooky with Book of Hexes polish collection

Female-founded and Latina-owned brand, Lights Lacquer, is getting into the spirit of spooky season with its limited-edition Book of Hexes collection.

Inspired by the realm of enchantment and mystery, the nail polish collection is the brand’s first line of shimmering and shifting magnetic nail polishes, the company noted.

Shades part of the collection include:

  • Tru Blood: Inspired by the television series “True Blood,” it is a deep ruby polish with apple red pigments and a magnetic finish;
  • Dark Arts: Inspired by “Harry Potter’s” Defense Against the Dark Arts class, the polish is a gunmetal black shade with silver and gold pigments and a magnetic finish;
  • Something Wicked: Inspired by the Macbeth Quote: “Double, double toil and trouble: Fire burn, and cauldron bubble. By the pricking of my thumbs, Something wicked this way comes," the polish is a deep forest green with a golden green pigment and magnetic finish; and
  • Brujita: Inspired by the translation of “little witch” in Spanish, the polish is a deep purple shade with a lavender pigment and magnetic finish.

Lights Lacquer’s Book of Hexes collection retails at $13 per bottle, $5 per magnetic wand and $47 for the complete collection.
