The statement concluded, “We’re excited to introduce patients of these pharmacies to our best-in-class pharmacy services. CVS Pharmacy teams provide trusted advice and counsel to help our patients get and stay healthy by delivering innovative health solutions that create a simpler, more accessible experience for patients, customers, and caregivers.”

The statement continued, "We will also be providing employment opportunities for Winn-Dixie & Harveys’ existing pharmacy staff. Walgreens has a long history of serving communities throughout the U.S. and looks forward to providing Winn-Dixie and Harveys’ customers with greater access to a wide range of trusted pharmacy and healthcare services."
