Schnucks Cahokia, located at 1615 Camp Jackson Road in Cahokia, Ill., is getting a makeover.

A renovation of the 44,000-sq.-ft. location includes updates to nearly every area and department of the store. Once complete, upon entering the store, customers will first notice new flooring, new shelving, a new décor and paint package as well as updated energy efficient lighting throughout. In the fresh area of the store, shoppers will also be greeted with updates in the deli, bakery and seafood service areas while produce, dairy and beer departments will all receive new refrigeration cases.

The Cahokia store also will be one of the early Schnucks locations to feature electronic shelf tags which have proved popular among both customers and teammates at other Schnucks stores. In addition, the front end will receive all new checkstands as well as the addition of two more self checkouts.
