Rite Aid is offering Family Immunization Days at select stores, including Bartell Drugs in the Pacific Northwest, providing families convenient opportunities to walk in and get the vaccinations they need to protect themselves against COVID-19, the flu and other diseases.

Rite Aid Family Immunization Days are walk-in clinics that provide convenient opportunities for families to get vaccinated after school, work and on the weekends.

Rite Aid Family Immunization Days take place from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sept. 21 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 15 at participating locations. Bartell Drugs Family Immunization Days take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 1 and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 26.

“With school underway and cold-weather season on the horizon, now is the optimal time to ensure the entire family is vaccinated against spreading viruses,” said Karen Staniforth, chief pharmacy officer at Rite Aid. “As a modern pharmacy focused on improving health outcomes in our communities, Rite Aid’s Family Immunization Days provide customers with convenient access to the immunizations they need, whether it’s after work on a Wednesday or on a Saturday.”

Rite Aid and Bartell Drugs pharmacists can immunize adults and children aged 3 years old and older. The following immunizations are available while supplies last:

  • COVID-19 – primary series and boosters for adults and eligible children;
  • Flu, including standard quadrivalent vaccines for all ages, with specific products for those over the age of 65 and a limited supply nasal spray option for customers who are afraid of needles; and
  • Other routine vaccinations that provide critical protection against certain diseases, some of which are required for certain ages, activities or for overseas travel. These include shingles, TDAP and HPV, among others, depending on age and state regulations.

To help customers determine which routine immunizations are right for them, Rite Aid offers an Immunization Evaluation Questionnaire on its website. The questionnaire guides customers to ensure they are up to date with all necessary immunizations based on their age, conditions or occupation.
