3BL releases 100 Best Corporate Citizens 2023

The ranking recognizes outstanding environmental, social and governance transparency and performance among the 1,000 largest U.S. public companies.

3BL Media announced the annual 100 Best Corporate Citizens ranking, recognizing outstanding environmental, social and governance transparency and performance among the 1,000 largest U.S. public companies.

Now more than ever, corporate leadership on environmental, social and governance issues is imperative. And so is transparency. As companies decarbonize, align with the Sustainable Development Goals and rebuild an equitable economy post-pandemic, they must be open about their efforts, 3BL said.

Here are the latest 3BL rankings:

Health Care Equipment and Services category:

Medtronic (17), Becton, Dickinson (37), The Cigna Group, (48), Abbott Laboratories, (81), Boston Scientific, (82) and Cardinal Health (91).

Food and Beverage category: PepsiCo (6); Hersey (10); Mondelez International (35); Kellogg Company (40); General Mills (49); Kraft Heinz (61); Coca-Cola (79) .

Household and Personal Products category:

Estee Lauder (5); Colgate-Palmolive (58); Clorox (75); P&G (89);

Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology and Life Sciences category: Merck (7); Johnson & Johnsonn

Consumer Staples Distribution & Retail category: Target (25).
