Southeastern Grocers, parent company and home of Fresco y Más, Harveys Supermarket and Winn-Dixie grocery stores, is hosting a virtual Local & Diverse Supplier Connect event to collaborate with underrepresented suppliers, and in turn, provide stores with an expanded variety of locally relevant and diverse products.

The event will focus on sourcing products across grocery, household, fresh, frozen, personal care, pet and baby merchandise, among other categories. SEG is partnering with ECRM and RangeMe to source, qualify and connect suppliers with the appropriate buyers.

During the upcoming Local & Diverse Supplier Connect event, planned for Nov. 1, participants will have the opportunity to engage with SEG buyers and category managers to share their company background, product information and marketing plans.

This event will serve as SEG’s fourth event reaching out to diverse or local suppliers and following the grocer’s most recent July Supplier Connect sourcing event. Currently, the retailer works with nearly 300 diverse and local suppliers operating across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana and Mississippi.
